(only available for the business sector)

R&D personnel in the business sector can be classified according to the total number of persons employed by the company. We distinguish between researchers on the one hand and total personnel (= researchers + supporting R&D personnel) on the other:

0 employees
1-9 employees
10-49 employees
50-249 employees
250-499 employees
≥ 500 employees

With the application below, statistics on R&D personnel can be created using the following criteria:

In full-time equivalents (FTE)

total R&D personnel in FTE
researchers in FTE
